Venice Biennale 2014 Temporary Pavilion

As a member of the Creative Team for the Australian Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2014, one of our requirements was to provide a temporary pavilion to house the exhibition during the 6 months of the Biennale whilst our new pavilion, designed by Denton Corker Marshall, was under construction.

These photos document the build of the temporary structure from the initial site set-out to final completion and exhibition install.

The build was undertaken over a week long period and the main structure consists of 4.5 Tonnes of steel clad in a tensioned orange fabric.
