The Digital Design unit requires students to become familiar with not only the software available but its application as a design tool in the field of architecture. Through a lecture series presented by Rene Van-Meeuwen, the students were required to apply the theoretical knowledge of various architectural practices design ethos to create both a factory which was then to be converted to architects studio/residence.

Digital tools used consisted of; 3ds Max, Vue, Photoshop and AutoCAD.
